Custom Carriers – In many industries custom designed carriers are needed that go beyond the standard hand propelled or motor driven types. They are designed and built to handle a particular commodity and only that commodity. The characteristics of the materials to be handled dictate the design and construction of these special carriers. An example is that of moving a very hot and heavy load such as molten metal. Special provisions must be made to protect the operator, so the cab carrier would be designed to keep the operator cool, comfortable, but most of all, safe. Other examples include moving certain delicate loads which would require special handling, or, sometimes large quantities of a heavy material are needed to be moved at the same time, so a custom carrier would be designed to handle this.
