Stacker Cranes – Automatic or operator controlled warehouse handling systems. Stacker cranes are suspended from a double girder bridge crane and can telescope up and down, travel horizontally and can rotate 360 degrees in the storage and retrieval of product from storage cells. They can also operate in extremely narrow aisle ways and to great heights. The carrier delivers loads automatically to any of hundreds of storage openings, or it can retrieve a load from any storage cell and deliver it to a work area. They save invaluable floor space and can be telescoped up and down to pass above equipment and other obstructions on the floor. One stacker can service an entire warehouse.
